I saw that you needed a clear picture of a flying Horten Ho-229. Write Horten Ho-229 in Google images to get a few.

Great site.
Been coming here for a few years now and still havent read through everything.
One thing i just noticed, tho, is that you have the Panavia Toronado listed as the first production military aircraft to utilize "fly-by-wire". I believe that the F16 Fighting Falcon beat it by several years.
Anyways, keep up the good work.

ITS GREAT SITE SPECIALLY FOR THE AIRCRAFT ENTHUSIASTS BUT SIR I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE A SUGGESTION THAT IN YOUR ARMAMENT SECTION OF PLANE INFORMATION YOU HAVE GIVEN QUITE A LOT OF ABBREVIATIONS. FOR EG. mg FOR MACHINE GUN ETC
SO WOULD LIKE YOU TO PLEASE EITHER WRITE THEIR FULL FORMS OR PROVIDE A CHART FOR THEIR FULL FORMS AS THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM AMONG THE NEW PEOPLE WHO HAVE THEIR INTEREST IN FIGHTER AND MILITARY AIRCRAFTS. I HOPE YOU LOOK UP TO MY SUGGESTION AND DO SOMETHING REGARDING TO IT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
YOURS SINCERELY

Great site!
I'm a model builder and am looking for specific aircraft info that is hard to find for some reason. Maybe you can help me out. I am currently building models of the Eurofighter Typhoon, Gripen and the F18E. I normally like to add full weapons loads to my models as I feel fighter aircraft look somewhat "naked" in "clean" configurations. The problem I have is finding out what each weapons station/pylon on these particular fighters can hold. I don't want to add a 2000lb bomb to a station rated for only 1000 or 1500lbs. I have even tried the aircraft manufacturers websites and come up empty. Do you have any info or suggestions?
Thanks
Dave

Fantastic site.. I have visited your website many times and I don't want to waste time in praising phrases but I would love if I get an opportunity to participate (even 0.0001%)to help make it updated and complete all the time.
I have seen a new version (aircraft carrier version) of SU27 in PLAAF. Its code name is SU33. It has folding wings like F-18.

I read your reply. Thank you for your consideration. I must have overlooked the whole F-15E portion of the F-15 page (which is hard to imagine, because it is rather large). I really like the new P-51 and F8F pictures.

Not a bad site. However in the 1960 - 1970 section you need to look at the entry for the Harrier GR3. The photo shown is clearly that of a Harrier GR7 / 7A. In addition no British Harriers have ever carried 25mm cannon. Up to GR3/T4 two 30mm Aden cannon were carried and also on the Sea Harrier FRS1 and FA2. Current Briish Harriers carry no cannon armament at all.
Keep up the good work
